Meet Baby Skye! With light brown pigtails and bright blue eyes, she wore her favorite pink dungarees. Her special friend, Barnaby the teddy bear, was always on her back.
"Barnaby," Skye giggled, pointing, "let's find a magical fairy today!" Barnaby's eyes twinkled. "A grand idea, Skye! To the Whispering Woods!"
Into the woods they went! Tall trees with shimmering leaves greeted them. The air felt sparkly and alive. "Listen, Skye," whispered Barnaby. "Do you hear that soft, secret sound?"
"What do *you* hear?" Barnaby asked softly. "Is it a tiny bell, or a gentle hum?" Skye tilted her head, her blue eyes wide. "A little tinkling!" she said.
Skye followed the sweet, tinkling sound. It led her to a patch of glowing bluebells! A tiny, fluffy squirrel peeked out from behind one. "Hello!" Skye whispered.
"Wonderful listening, Skye!" praised Barnaby. "Now, look closely. What color sparkles most brightly here, like a tiny star guiding our way?"
"Can you see it?" Barnaby asked. "Is it a glowing red mushroom, or a shimmering purple petal?" Skye spotted a petal, shining extra bright. "Purple!"
The purple petal seemed to glow brighter, pointing the way deeper into the woods. Skye followed it. "My nose tickles!" she giggled. "Something smells so sweet!"
"Excellent smelling, Skye!" Barnaby chuckled. "What do *you* smell? Is it yummy berries, or sweet honey?" Skye sniffed again, a big smile on her face. "Honey!"
The sweet, honey scent led them to a winding, sparkling stream. On the other side, a path of glowing stepping stones waited. "How do we cross?" Skye wondered.
