Anya loved her bright red boots. She loved collecting rocks even more!
One sunny afternoon, behind the old oak tree, something new shimmered.
It was a shimmering portal, like a wobbly rainbow puddle! Anya's curious eyes sparkled.
With a deep breath and a wiggle of her red boots, Anya stepped right in!
Woah! She was in a world made of crystals! Tall, sparkling, and so very bright.
Amethyst mountains touched the sky. But under the crystal trees, it was quite dark.
A tiny, soft sound made Anya peer closer. "Hello?" she whispered.
Out peeked Lumi, a shy crystal creature, translucent and shimmering faintly.
Lumi curled up. "Dark," he whispered, his tiny crystal body trembling. "Scary."
Anya remembered her shiny rocks. And her bright red boots! "I know!" she exclaimed.
She pulled out her smooth, flat, shiny grey rock. "This will reflect!"
Anya carefully angled the rock. A beam of sunlight bounced, dancing across the dark crystals.
Then she used her red boots! Their shiny surface caught the light too.
Lumi watched, fascinated. A tiny giggle escaped him. "Light!" he chirped.
