Aisha loved Saturdays! It was family day at the Sunshine Kitchen. She wore her favorite blue hijab, ready to help.

The kitchen was always warm and welcoming. It smelled of yummy spices and fresh bread, like a big, cozy hug.

Aisha loved to help. She carried trays, set tables, and made everyone smile with her bright, happy face.

Her mom chopped carrots and celery. Her dad stirred big pots, humming a happy tune. Everyone helped!

Mr. Henderson, the head chef, was busy. He wore a tall white hat and knew all the best recipes.

Today was extra special! It was "Sunshine Soup" day, everyone’s favorite, famous for its golden color.

Suddenly, Mr. Henderson looked worried. He peered into a big basket, then looked around the kitchen.

"Oh no!" he sighed. "We’re out of golden carrots! Our special Sunshine Soup needs them!"

Without the golden carrots, the soup wouldn't be the same. Mr. Henderson looked very sad. What could they do?

Aisha thought hard. Her eyes scanned the kitchen. She remembered something warm and orange, just like a carrot!

An idea popped into her head, bright as the morning sun! She knew just what to do!

Aisha whispered her idea to her mom. Her mom listened carefully, a soft smile growing on her face.

"That's a wonderful idea, my smart girl!" her mom said. She gave Aisha a gentle push forward.

Aisha bravely walked to Mr. Henderson. "Maybe we can use these?" she suggested, holding up a sweet potato.
