📖 Read the Story

Aisha lived in a bustling city, full of vibrant colors and busy sounds. Her bright pink glasses helped her see everything!

She loved watching the street performers and the artists painting amazing murals. Aisha was always curious about the world around her.

But one day, Aisha noticed someone new. An elderly man, Mr. Fitzwilliam, sat alone on a park bench.

He looked very sad. His shoulders drooped, and his eyes never seemed to look up. He sat there every single day.

Aisha felt a little pang of worry in her heart. Why was Mr. Fitzwilliam always so quiet and gloomy?

Then, a wonderful idea popped into her head! 'I'll make a Kindness Calendar!' she whispered excitedly.

She quickly gathered her friends, Leo, who loved to draw, and Maya, who always had yummy snacks.

'We'll fill it with small, happy surprises for Mr. Fitzwilliam,' Aisha explained. 'Little acts of kindness!'

Their first idea was a bright picture. Leo carefully drew a giant, smiling sun with warm, golden rays.

The next morning, Aisha tiptoed to the bench. She gently placed Leo's sunny drawing right beside Mr. Fitzwilliam.

A few moments later, Mr. Fitzwilliam looked down. A tiny, gentle smile touched his lips as he saw the cheerful sun.

The next day, Maya offered him a delicious, freshly baked cookie. 'For you, Mr. Fitzwilliam!' she chirped.

He took a bite and a soft chuckle escaped him. His eyes crinkled at the corners. He hadn't laughed in ages.

Then, Aisha told him a very funny joke about a squirrel who loved to wear tiny hats. 'Why did the squirrel bring a ladder?'
